Itinerary Days:

Day 01

Arrival in Entebbe - Transfer to Kampala

Welcome to Uganda! Upon landing at Entebbe airport, your adventure begins. A Daventure Tours representative will greet you and escort you to your accommodation in Kampala, Uganda's vibrant capital. Rest and recharge at either Forest Cottages or Red Chilli Hideaway on a bed and breakfast basis, or upgrade to full board at Cassia Lodge.

Optional Activities in Kampala:

Embark on a captivating city tour.
Experience the nightlife with a Kampala pub crawl.

Day 02

Kampala to Mukono - Hamu Mukasa Cultural Museum

After breakfast, we head towards Jinja, stopping at the Hamu Mukasa Cultural Museum in Mukono. Next, marvel at the Sesibwa Falls, and immerse yourself in the tranquility of the Mabira Eco-tourism site, rich in flora and fauna. The day concludes in Jinja, where you'll stay at Nile Porch/Holland Park (BB) or Haven Lodge (FB).

Day 03

Jinja Adventures - White Water Rafting on the River Nile

Start with an energizing breakfast before a half or full-day white water rafting adventure on the Nile, promising an adrenaline rush. Visit the source of the Nile, then retreat to Nile Porch/Holland Park (BB) or Haven Lodge (FB) for rest.

Optional Activities:

Bungee jumping, horse riding, kayaking, quad biking.

Day 04

Jinja to Kapchorwa - Mt. Elgon

Travel to Kapchorwa, exploring the Jewish community in Mbale and the historical Bishop Hannington Murder Site. Overnight stay at Lacam Lodge (HB) or Sipi River Lodge (FB).

Day 05

Sipi Falls and Coffee Plantations

Explore Sipi Falls and learn about local Arabica coffee production. End your day at Lacam Lodge (HB) or Sipi River Lodge (FB).

Optional Activities:

Abseiling, rock climbing, mountain climbing.

Day 06

Kapchorwa to Moroto - Encounter with the Karimojong

Journey to Moroto to experience the life of Karimojong nomadic pastoralists. Stay at Kara-Tunga Guesthouse (BB) or Mount Moroto Hotel (FB).

Optional Activities:

Beekeeping tour, BodaBoda Safari, Moroto town sundowner picnic.

Day 07

Moroto to Kidepo Valley National Park

Travel to the stunning Kidepo Valley National Park for an afternoon of exploration. Overnight at Kidepo Savanna Lodge (HB) or Apoka Lodge (FB).

Day 08

Game Drive in Kidepo Valley National Park

Embark on an early morning game drive to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, and potentially cheetahs. Stay at Kidepo Savanna Lodge (HB) or Apoka Lodge (FB).

Optional Activity:

Community visit.

Day 09

Kidepo to Kampala

Return to Kampala, with a stop at Fort Patiko or Amuru falls, in time for your evening flight home.

Booking and Cancellation Policy

Booking Policy:

Pricing:

The listed prices are in Australian dollars. Please note that prices may be subject to change due to factors such as surcharges, fees, taxes, or currency fluctuations.

Reservations:

To secure a reservation, you must fill out and submit a booking form. Upon receipt of your form, Daventure Tours will send you a confirmation email along with an invoice. This invoice will detail the initial deposit (30% of the tour cost) that is required within 7 days to confirm your booking. The remainder of the payment must be completed according to the specified schedule.

The final payment, covering the remaining 70% of the tour cost, is due 90 days before the tour's departure date.

For bookings made less than 90 days before departure, the full payment of the tour cost is required immediately.

Deposits:

A deposit of 30% is needed at the time of booking. Certain tours may require higher deposits due to specific tour operators' conditions.

Payment in full is required for Gorilla permits at the time of booking, and this fee is non-refundable.

Cancellations and Refunds:

To cancel a reservation, a written notification is required. Cancellation charges will be applied from the date your written cancellation is received, as follows:

More than 90 days before departure: You will forfeit the 30% deposit.
Between 90 to 30 days before departure: 70% of the total trip cost will be charged.
Less than 30 days before departure: No refund is available, and 100% of the total trip cost will be charged.
