Day 01

Arrival in Entebbe - Transfer to Kampala

Welcome to Uganda! Upon arrival at Entebbe Airport, meet your guide and transfer to Kampala for your overnight stay.

Day 02

Entanda Cultural Adventure

Drive to Mityana for an immersive day at Entanda, exploring traditional Ugandan culture. Activities include bark cloth making, traditional hunting, music, dance, and more.

  • Accommodation: Enro Hotel Mityana (HB), Entanda Community Homestay

Day 03

Mityana to Kibale Forest National Park

Travel to Kibale, stopping at Nakayima cultural site and the Tooro Kingdom palace to learn about Uganda’s royal history.

  • Accommodation: Kibale Forest Camp/Tinka’s Homestay (BB), Primate Lodge (FB)

Day 04

Kibale Forest National Park

Embark on chimpanzee tracking and explore the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary or visit local communities and crater lakes.

Day 05

Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National Park (QENP)

Visit Maberega Nyinamwiru, then proceed to QENP for an afternoon game drive to see lions, elephants, and more.

Day 06

Queen Elizabeth National Park

Morning game drive and an afternoon boat trip on the Kazinga Channel, famous for its hippos.

Day 07

Ishasha - QENP

Drive to the Ishasha sector to search for tree-climbing lions and discover the unique Topis.

Day 08

Ishasha to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Travel to Bwindi, a haven for mountain gorillas and diverse monkey species.

Day 09

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

Experience the highlight of your trip - gorilla trekking in Bwindi, spending time with these majestic creatures.

Day 10

Bwindi to Lake Bunyonyi

Drive to Lake Bunyonyi, known for its serene beauty and numerous islands.

Day 11

Bunyonyi to Lake Mburo National Park

Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park, visit Igongo Cultural museum to learn about western Uganda's culture.

Day 12

Lake Mburo National Park

Enjoy a morning game drive and an afternoon boat ride on Lake Mburo, observing hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species.

Day 13

Mburo to Kampala - Departure

Depart Lake Mburo for Kampala, stopping at the Equator for memorable photos, then head to the airport for your departure.

Booking and Cancellation Policy

Booking Policy:

Pricing:

The listed prices are in Australian dollars. Please note that prices may be subject to change due to factors such as surcharges, fees, taxes, or currency fluctuations.

Reservations:

To secure a reservation, you must fill out and submit a booking form. Upon receipt of your form, Daventure Tours will send you a confirmation email along with an invoice. This invoice will detail the initial deposit (30% of the tour cost) that is required within 7 days to confirm your booking. The remainder of the payment must be completed according to the specified schedule.

The final payment, covering the remaining 70% of the tour cost, is due 90 days before the tour's departure date.

For bookings made less than 90 days before departure, the full payment of the tour cost is required immediately.

Deposits:

A deposit of 30% is needed at the time of booking. Certain tours may require higher deposits due to specific tour operators' conditions.

Payment in full is required for Gorilla permits at the time of booking, and this fee is non-refundable.

Cancellations and Refunds:

To cancel a reservation, a written notification is required. Cancellation charges will be applied from the date your written cancellation is received, as follows:

  • More than 90 days before departure: You will forfeit the 30% deposit.
  • Between 90 to 30 days before departure: 70% of the total trip cost will be charged.
  • Less than 30 days before departure: No refund is available, and 100% of the total trip cost will be charged.
