Maama’s Centre was created in memory of a remarkable woman whose kindness and generosity touched many lives. Today, the center serves as a beacon of hope for young people and women in Bugabo Village, offering skills training, employment opportunities, and cultural preservation.
Maama’s Centre is a hub for education, skills training, and entrepreneurship. It provides young people and women with the tools to build a better future while fostering cultural heritage and self-sufficiency.
Through hands-on training, business education, and cultural programs, we strive to uplift individuals and families, breaking the cycle of poverty and fostering long-term community resilience.

At Maama’s Centre, we believe that opportunity changes everything. In Uganda, young people and women often face limited access to education, employment, and financial independence—but we are here to change that.
